About us

Some words about

The project led by Mr. Reji, a health care professional focuses on cancer patients in Kerala. He has spoken to different cancer patients and provided encouragement, hope, and education about their care and spiritual support. He includes the patients’ family in all aspects of care. These individuals, along with Mr. Reji’s friends, encouraged and requested him to make it available to more patients and he decided to start this project. This service is completely free of cost. Once you send an email, a team member will contact you at the phone number provided through your email.

Our Philosophy

We believe that an individual’s faith can increase one’s spiritual realm and provide them with the inner strength to fight and heal. By educating patients about their condition, we empower them with the ability to adjust with the struggles caused by the illness, live with hope, and appreciate the positive things in their lives.

Provide general information about the illness, care and alternative comfort measures.
Provide information about concept of palliative care.
Provide education regarding the care of the patient’s unique needs.
Provide emotional support to the patient and family.

Provide support to reduce anxiety and fear.
Provide an optimistic approach to reinforce confidence in patients.

DISCLOSURE

This project focuses on cancer patients in Kerala, India. This is a free service. This should not replace medical or nursing services or care. This should not replace any needed therapy or medications. This telephone call should not over ride any medical advice or recommended surgery. This is strictly restricted to the available time of the team members and volunteers. This is completely voluntary and the team is considering it as a charitable and voluntary service to the deserved. This is not affiliated with any professional or charitable organization. Any changes on the project is strictly on the basis of the decision of the team. Patients’ privacy and confidentiality should be respected and kept accordingly. As it is mentioned earlier, the telephone call from the team will be on their available time. An emergency telephone line and Hotline service are not available on this project.

CARE-VOICE for the deserved is not an incorporated non-profit entity under the laws of the United States or India. The project consists exclusively of individuals who are working together, for no personal profit, on a completely voluntary basis. We are not accepting any donations from anyone for this project.

Meet our team

Mr. REJI MANI

(Team Leader of the project)

Mr. Reji, is a health care professional, completed advanced level of education in health care. He hold membership with many health care professional organizations. On his own time, Mr. Reji utilizes his knowledge to educate patients and families; and provide emotional comfort when they approach with questions regarding their condition.
A team has been formed to help and support Mr. Reji with this project. The team will take a proactive approach to ensure positive outcomes in the project. The team will make the effort to consult the specialist doctors and nurses to find out expert opinion about the requesting patient’s condition with reports. The team consists of the following individuals:
